How to delete your account

In the app:

1. Open Milea and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm by typing your email address.

Your sign-in is removed immediately and you are signed out. Nobody can sign in to that account again.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in (email and password, or your Google / Apple sign-in link), so the account can no longer be used.
• On request, personal data that is not subject to a legal retention requirement, for example your email address, display name, optional age and notification settings. Email us to ask.

What is kept, and for how long

Your financial records, meaning expenses (including saved receipt photos), trips, income entries and filing periods, are tax records. Tax law in your selected country requires us to keep them for a fixed period (for example up to 10 years in Germany), so they are not removed when you delete your account. They are kept only for that legal retention period and are not used for anything else. Once the period ends they can be deleted.

If you want a copy first, use Reports → Export (CSV or PDF) before deleting your account.
